My 2022 Tasman Blue Defender SE
@Royalist Where did you find these Oyster pics? I wonder if there are better quality pics somewhere.
I for one can barely tell any difference between acorn and oyster, at least from these pics. Has anyone seen both in person? Does one have more of some color mixed in, or darker / lighter?

I saw it on Land Rover’s national inventory site but It might not be on there anymore, was a Tasman Blue 90 at LR Cerritos.
What's confusing is that @Count Laszlo said over a couple posts that he ordered acorn leather/textile, but received "full leather" when the car arrived. As far as I know acorn isn't available in full leather. So either he has acorn and it's not full leather, or he has oyster, or something is screwy.
Perhaps he can clarify.

That's acorn, not Light Oyster.
I assume that if ordered with extended leather, my car would look like this except those areas would be oyster leather? Circling back to my original question: is the configurator wrong to color those areas black, or does "extended leather" for oyster mean that those areas get a different leather color than the seats do, even though for vintage tan the extended leather pack colors those areas the same color as the seats?
Edited to add: look here for extended leather pack on vintage tan to see what I mean.
This is all so confusing - does anyone understand how this works?

Ok, so what am I even looking at here? What color is the material that frames the instrument cluster and white powder-coated section on the passenger side? It looks gray-ish, not black like the steering wheel. Is it leather? Perhaps this is a car without the extended leather package, so those areas get the neoprene-link material that isn't oyster? Then again, if that's true shouldn't the areas on the doors also be grayish (they look like oyster)?
