Kinda funny. I sit tall in the drivers seat. The first Defender I looked at and drove had the cutouts, and I found them incredibly distracting as the drivers side was just north of my line of sight. I had the same issue with the tint band on an Escalade I had a few years ago....I am glad they are no longer part of the windshield.

It’s no longer using 2 different windshields, just the one. See this thread.

Don't wanna thread hijack or anything, but in y'all's experiences with these solar windshields, is this like a must get for an option? I've heard when coupled with the heated element in the windshield it makes nighttime driving a little more difficult with light glare? just wondering thanks
