My 23.5 D90S updated from 3.3.2 to 4.0.0 this evening. No major change for me as I have the analogue cluster and no HUD

 

Probably not your case, but right now I would be biting my elbows if I had paid $80k plus for my truck with IDD and LR cut it on delivery. This is just the first step of a whole new integration between your phone and the car.

 

Glad to report, It seems 4.0 has resolved Apple CarPlay from suddenly disconnecting!

So happy about that, It was such a pain!

 

I think the dash is still dimming.

 

My 23.5 110X (Canadian model) just updated to 4.0 last night as well. Looking forward to having the CarPlay maps in the dash. I’ll have to try it out later if the HUD shows things using Apple Maps navigation too

 

It doesn’t, I’ve tried it, and the options in the info dashboard doesn’t have anything for navigation when you click on HUD.

But I do love the mega screen for the map and how it looks. No longer do I have to flip the Pivi screen between navigation and radio.

 

Ahh.. that’s too bad. I like that extra info. I’ve tried navigating using Pivi and CarPlay and while I prefer the CarPlay directions, it’s nice seeing the stuff on the HUD using Pivi
