Hi everyone. My software has updated to 4.0 on by Jan 2023 vehicle. However I can’t work out how to get the maps on the digital driver display? I can’t find any settings anywhere and it just shows the standard dials with no map. Am I missing something?

 

Have you ever adjusted your display to see maps before? It’ll be with the controls on the left spoke of the steering wheel. Press the enter/circle button to get to the options.
The maps option (left, right, or full-screen) will show either Pivi maps or CarPlay maps depending on which you’re using for navigation

 

My 2022 P400 updated last night from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3, rather than going direct to 4.0.0 as some other owners have reported. It does mention another upcoming update in the notes though.

 

2020 P400 still on 3.3.2… anyone else?

 

2022 P400 still on 3.3.2. Haven't checked it in a few days, but I suspect nothing's changed.

 

Received the 3.3.3 update yesterday on my 2022 110 P300 S, still waiting on the 4.0 update. I'm in Upstate NY, purchased the defender in October 2021. Hopefully the 4.0 will come soon.

 

Yep, yep...same old same old here. 2020 P400SE still dragging on 3.3.2. i have never longed so much for an update. Frustrating... I am not even considering not skipping 3.3.3 straight to 4. That would be dreadful.

 

I loaded up the new software and at least for the commute into the office today I was unable to get Carplay started at all (which worked perfectly before. . .) . Will fuss with it again later.

EDIT: Works fine - confirmed it was 4.0 and thanks to the guidance here as to the selections on the steering wheel, I am sporting Apple Maps between my twin digital gauges. Haven' really figured out any other big difference. The last time I remember parking my 110 near the house, connecting to the home wifi with a couple bar connection at best, but managed to DL overnight and then install. This time it seems to have downloaded by itself (?) and installation was easy.

 

I lit some incense and sage and walked around my Defender three times backwards yesterday and boom! there it was. I went straight from 3.3.2 to 4.0. Everything took a while to warm-up but Car Play and other apps seem to be just fine.

 

Same thing happened to me. I got excited when I saw software update but it was for 3.3.3
