I saw some requests for photos of the rack and ladder combo so I thought I’d post mine.

 

Looks good! I've been torn between using the voyager ladder or something else. Any feedback comparing it vs alternatives when using a voyager rack?

Anyone know if the lucky 8 ladder will fit under Voyager rack?

 

I personally went with the Voyager ladder because I don’t particularly like the LR ladder; I’ve heard that it increases wind noise and I wanted something fixed versus having it fold up. I like the more old school look, and since it’s Voyager I knew it would fit with the rack without fuss. I honestly would have preferred the lucky 8 ladder due to the rear placement, but wasn’t sure if it would be compatible with the rack and it’s too pricey to just order it and hope for the best in my case.

I will say, getting the ladder installed was not super simple. They do not include instructions, and you have to place an additional rivnut if you mount it on the driver’s side.
