Another question; if changing tire diameter to 32 or 33, is there a programmer or some way to tell the computer? In the Jeep world there’s a $150 programmer called the AEV ProCal (as well as some others) that allows you to input the actual tire height to the quarter inch, as well as other stuff you might change, like lowering the TPMS alert threshold if you’re running lower pressures on your setup, or turn it off altogether if you’re going off-road and really dumping pressure. Also, you can input new t-case ratios if you switch to a 4:1 or other, new diff gearing and a few other things.

We can’t really do any of those mods in the Landie other than tire pressure and tire height; just wondering if there’s a way to readjust the speedo/odometer to the new tire height.

I am curious as well. I want to keep the tire as stock as possible without a lift or frame off lift. Has anybody tried the nitto 275/60/20? That's the closest to stock but the tire is just heavy though. 56 lbs compared to a 36 lbs oem.

^^ That’s because sidewalls not made from kraft paper have some weight.

Found this picture on Johnson Rods FB page, showing exactly the tire I want, the Ridge Grappler, in 275/60-20, with a 1.5” rod lift.

Can somebody list the tires that work? With or without a lift and if with a lift how much length is ok not to need any alignment or camber? I'm planning to use my stock oem X 20 inch wheels.

I believe it’s at the top of the thread, minus the alignment answer. On the alignment the posts in a lift thread essentially said always need to align if you lift. Im thinking of going 1” only so not sure about that…..

Default Rims and tires

I was going to order Redbourne Morland Rims in 20 inch for my 2020 HSE p400. Stock 20 inch rims have a 45 offset I think, the Redbourne 20 inch rims have 20 offset..., when I saw that the tire place suggested fuel rims with a 30 offset, but they are 20x9, mot 20x8.5 width, so that would make the tire stick out just as much, correct? I am having the fender flares and mudflaps put on tomorrow morning, but I am still concerned to have those front tires move out around 3/4 of an inch , or is my math wrong?

Would you be so kind as to give us a quick review of the Recons you posted? Hows the ride and noise? I'm assuming you didnt need a lift for those? Thanks!
