Default OEM Activations

Has anyone used OEMactivations.com based in San Diego to activate additional features such as Auto Stop Start Memory, Dynamic Mode, Configurable Dynamics, Auto Terrain Response / Terrain 2, All Terrain Progress Control
Configurable Terrain Response, Global Window Close, Fogs with Brights, Advanced Tow Assist, Remote Release Tailgate, Seatbelt Chime Disable, Fake Engine Noise Disable, Wi-Fi Hotspot.
If you have, please let me know how it all went and if you were happy with such activations. Thank you!

LOL, I have no clue. Their website description: "Disable Next Generation Power Train Sound Quality. This uses data feeds for engine speed and gear selection, the system carefully constructs a digital audio enhancement, which is played through the audio system."
It probably does not apply to the Defender but may apply to other LR vehicles with plug in Hybrid tech? I just do not know.

Yes, I had OEM Activations (formerly JLR Active) activate a bunch of features in my Defender. They use JLR's Pathfinder software to code in features. They sent me a laptop and were able to remotely activate everything I wanted, and very happy with the result!

All Defenders have fake engine noise piped through the speakers regardless of powertrain. Roll down the windows and floor your Defender and you'll hear how much different it sounds, and its so obviously fake.

I will say, it’s not as bad as you get in a BMW. I wouldn’t say it sounds bad per se; it’s just loud, and that’s what gives it away. The P400s sound like a BMW I6 from a Forza video game, and the P300s sound like a standard 4 banger that’s a bit louder. The fake engine noise in the V8 is the most subtle by far.
