Default p400 engine and exhaust mods?

love a little more growl to the exhaust. I see Kahn has a muffler delete and defender mods is possibly making one but anybody else?

it seems a muffler delete would do the trick but don’t want to deal with highway drone and not enough videos or cars that have it to confirm.

Kahn is pretty overpriced. You get the tips and the screen protection but not worth the 2500. i could do that at a muffler shop for much less

also i am seeing some tuning options for the 2.0 option but nothing for the p400. anything with a turbo should be easily tunable. anybody know of anyone tuning the engine yet

I know of many German brand tuners, but I can't think of any LR engine tuners. We don't know much about the long term durability or reliability of these new Ingenium engines yet. Thinking it would be taking a big chance to void the engine warranty at this point.

the growl seems louder inside than outside. but after those first hundred rpms it’s turns into a week whine. not used to cars making these noises. almost like it’s synthesis into the cabin

Nice. I had a couple different aftermarket exhausts on my 2014 JK Wranger 2-door. The Magnaflow duals looked and sounded great, and at $500 was very reasonably priced. (Of course, the exact same system for a D110 would be $2250. )

But after I started getting more hardcore out west in the rocks, I had to replace with a home-designed, shop-made custom system to tuck everything away better. The MF was too exposed. I suspect this one (“Street Series” may suffer the same problem.
