Pivi Pro 4.4.0
I was clear to them that my issue is not the inability to install the update, it is my ability to receive an update to install.
Before I spend ½ day trekking to/from the dealer, can anyone confirm that the dealer can indeed pull the latest update for installation? The most important upgrade that I am looking for is improvement in the Apple Car Play experience. I’m told that the upgrades have made a positive impact.
FWIW - I don't think there is anything in the updates that meaningful. So I wouldn't worry about it. Most likely it will eventually do it when signal is good and battery is strong. If not, I'm not that concerned
I updated a couple weeks ago and Apple Car Play is still flaky. Sometimes it just drops out and I get some "failure to connect, retry" type message. It sucks if you're using maps, but the Land Rover navigation software seems ok as a backup.
I did yesterday the update to 4.4.0. With one exception, everything went OK.
The exception is that the navigation lost all the settings: voice, preferences, AND all the history: no home and work addresses, no recent trips....

Update 4.3.4 arrived to my 23.5 P300 this morning.

I've been repeatedly declining this update for weeks now, is there a way to get it to stop checking and harassing me? I have no interest in having all my speech getting sent to a cloud somewhere for AI to munch on. I'm really getting AI and connectedness fatigue, it seems almost certain that the increased data transfer will also just lead to bugs too from connectivity dropouts - for example the whole system hanging to due to a stalled connection handshake. I saw the Android Auto part do that several times (in addition to sometimes not disconnecting so phone calls while in the house were trying to use the car audio system....), I completely disabled it and that problem went away.
