First time Land Rover owner here, I have a MY21 Defender S P300 coming in 2 weeks, and have some questions as my SA knows about 1/3 of what I know regarding the vehicle.

Brief background I finished my order and submitted it in early November 2020. When I was optioning the vehicle I was able to option the LED lights thinking they would have some sort of DRL in a 70k+ vehicle. FF to a few days ago when I see the website is now offering the Premium LED with DRL for $600 along with heads up display and black headliner for the S model. So my questions begin with do the S models have any sort of DRL’s? Even the cubes? If not can you code them? Again my SA was not able to answer my question and just said wait till the vehicle gets to the port and we’ll go from there.

Second question would be what is the difference, I am coming from BMW ///M models since 2006 and all my vehicles had them standard, for $600 it does not seem like a different unit that’s why I asked about coding?

Final question would be can they be port installed like most performance parts with high end vehicles? Although I am not a fan of having a factory built vehicle be torn apart by the dealer. Any help or clarity regarding this would be greatly appreciated as I don’t want to go through buyers remorse. Thank you in advance.

 

Yes, the P300 S has LED DRLs... they look good, but they’re not the curved signature ones in that other package.

 

You have daytime running lights but it will be the cube. For the signature that is on the HSE, you needed the upgrade for 600. Its just a look difference both lights perform amazing.
