Question about parts not being available on new Defenders

U38ID is the "interactive" Display (IDD). Almost surely is now U38IC - analogue. That's the only item nicked from my D90S (P300). Build date is 4/21. My dealer said all remaining MY23.5 trucks will be analogue.
I bet a 130 Carpathian edition comes with IDD.
Now you know why it is a zero cost option to update from analogue to IDD. They don't owe any of us refunds...

If you cross check part numbers for the digital dashboard with the sport and fullsize you can get a used eBay digital dashboard and swap it the analog one. Less than 1k if you want it bad enough.

We have the same build date, same D90S. And yes I also saw recently that the display was switched to analog - that fine with me. I did want the signature LED headlights but that also could not be ordered so it will be the basic LED one.

They can and do move both away - or closer / sooner dates. Mine moved three weeks ahead (sooner) about two or three weeks ago.
You can always ask your salesperson to check Vista2 for an update. I only knew because I wanted to change my wheel / rim / tire combo about ten days before my original "Last Amendment" date, but found out I was actually about ten days too late.

Are they axing these too? First time I have heard. I wonder where this is going to end... Hoping to put an order for a MY 2024, but not so sure I am doing if less and less actually comes with the car. Is there light in the end of this tunnel? When?

My early 2022 base model has more tech than the fully loaded X-dynamics now. I have the large screen, signature LED lights, blind spot warning, 3D view, clear sight mirror, sunglass holder, soft close rear door (some of these were options I chose). I haven't checked if I have USB and 12V in the back, my dog doesn't need them

The sad part is that it appears Toyota & Honda are outbidding them, also. Basically nobody has much "supply chain" mess left.
