Shop is in the process of fitting 22' wheels (Vossen HFX-1) on Nitto Recon Grappler (285/45/22). I was told that the wheel set up for the rear door is impeding the wiper and sitting too flush. Found a spacer for the rear, however was only in stock in a tilt position. Wanted to see what everyone else is doing with A/T tires on bigger wheel setups. Thanks
I don't totally dig the look of the tilted spare extension... It looks like it's falling off or worse, like someone rammed the car from behind and bent the rear door a bit. I might hold out for the other one -- ie 'd get the one that keeps it mounted straight up and down, like that lucky 8 one.
If you look at pics of the new Octa, they have a scalloped cutout on the top of the bumper to make room for a bigger tire/wheel combo, which is kind of cool. But that part isn't available from JLR or aftermarket.

agree with you as well, if only the bumper cutout was available for us non-Octa owners.
Some options:
1. Just use spacer rings, enough thread left for securing the wheel.
2. Space the carrier, 1/4" no problem, some work.
Picture down here with just spacer rings
