Default Rear window falling off

The small glass on the rear door seems to have come loose. I first noticed when closing the door and it was bouncing at the back edge. Does anyone know how that piece is held on? I didn't see any clips mentioned in the parts diagram. Attached a couple photos of the piece I'm talking about and the gap at the rear edge. I can pull the rear edge out with my fingers. I stuck some velcro between the panels so I didn't fly off on the 500 mile trip home from red bull TKO.

Is it the entire glass panel or just the body colored panel on top of the glass ?

The entire glass panel. It seems like the body color panel is attached to the glass. I haven't noticed any water ingress, but I can here air whistling through it when I open a front window.

This should obviously never happen. How many miles do you have on the car?

It is a known issue on some Defenders. Take it to the dealer and get them to fix it under warranty.

I'm at 108k miles. 2020 p300. I leave it outside, so maybe the extreme heat melted the seal, glue, or whatever they stuck it on with. Still disappointing.

I have a 2020 that I also keep outside, I will need to keep an eye out for that. Regardless of the year or where you keep it, that should definitely not be happening. I wonder if here is a recall if it is a known issue?
