Hi all.

I need to know what the foam on the window track is call?

It's the vertical foam/felt/gasket thing that keeps the water and air from getting in.

It is missing on the outside and inside window track frame.
It's about a quarter 1/8 of an inch thick.

Old thread I know.... but I just received this part ASR2096 and notice it’s only long enough for one side and the top. What’s the part number for the other half of the channel runner?

I don’t know the part number but if the felt is missing it usually fell down into the door. Have you removed the door card and plastic to look inside the door?

 

Thanks, actually if was hard as a rock and shattered when I removed it. Still none the wiser though for the part number so I can buy a replacement.

 

Maybe you could use one of those old style phone things that repel millennials... A vendor could probably tell you and get you the correct part.

Yeah I did call some parts places here, but all they came up was the part number for what I already just received.

 

So, the part number for the other half of the window runner is MTC9177. See the diagram below, part labeled 7.
