What trim removal tools do you guys recommend? Specifically, what shapes, sizes, assortment or specific brands/kits have been useful and effective for the body trim removal on the defender (eg for removing left and right rear taillight assembly for installation of Reverse Backup LED upgrade).

Also, where find extra body clips to replace inevitable broken ones.?

and have used on the Defender's door card. Yes its Chineseum to my shame but alas - its got pretty much everything you could need. If one of the dedicated Defender parts merchants would put together a "broken clip kit" that had about 5-10 of each of the different kinds of trim and body panel fasteners on the truck, that would be an amazing buy.

 

I bought this kit a little over a year ago when I was having issues with a rattle in my door. Incredibly basic, but this one has come in handy many times and is all you really need for basic jobs. I haven't needed anything more than what came in this kit. The one @H1Tad recommended looks to be a much better buy, though.

 

Almost four years going strong. Less than ten bucks! If I did it again, I might get one with more bells & whistles and pieces. But I've never needed more than this. Probably one of the last remaining cheap deals on Amazon: . Use it almost every time I work on the Defender.
