Look for Kinetic Recovery Rope with a Working Load around 9,000 lbs to 15,000 lbs and a breaking load of 25,000 lbs or more, with a 20% to 30% stretch that is 20ft or 30ft long. Bubba Ropes and Yankum Ropes are great options. That should be enough to pull almost any non-commercial vehicle out of sand.

Great question. I've seen several answers that suggest a ****** strap's breaking strength in excess of 25,000 lbs. First let me say, I am not very knowledgeable in this area, but it seems to me that figure exceeds the design limits of the recovery loop (up to 14,330 lbs). A system is only as strong as the weakest component. For safety, if something was to break, shouldn't it be the nylon ****** strap, not the steel recovery loop?
