Is it just me or do all MY25 Defenders have new seat backs? Previously they were plastic with a netted item holder but now it is all leather with a leather item holder. This cars utilitarianism is slowly fading away… what a shame.

 

Toyota guys are fine with that..

 

Mine has a plastic seatback with a soft-touch plastic item holder. No netting.

Mine, a MY23 (Delivered about March 24’ so would it be a MY24???) D300 X has the plastic with netting. However, I don’t think it is based off model now.

I believe the 2025 Defenders with the plastic seat backs and netting have heated and cooled front seats while the ones with the leather/resist seat backs and holders have heated-only front seats.

 

You made me go out to the garage and see what we have:

- 2021 has leather seatback pockets

- 2025 has netted seatback pockets

Both are 110 X-Dynamic with heated and cooled front seats. Go figure.

I have a 2025 110 X-Dynamic SE with Light Cloud/Lunar Resist seats, so heated and cooled front seats with plastic/netting seat backs. But before mine arrived and I was searching for pics of what my interior was going to look like, all I could find in Light Cloud/Lunar Resist were 110 S models, no cooled seats. And those all had solid pockets, no nets. Hence my theory . . . at least for 2025 models . . .

 

Hmm… seems as though there are some discrepancies. Those who have posted their seat specs, can you also have a look at what headrests your seats have? That may be the defining factor???
