If running a wire up to a radar detector, I was able to stuff the wire under the A-pillar trim without removing it. I used a plastic putty knife to push it under along the windshield glass side.

You can then push it under the front edge of the headliner as well.

I'm planing to retrofit my Def with BSD and want to mingle the LED warning lights into the pillars.
In order to make it looking PRO I need to remove covers, drill it and flesh the LED lights.

I had my drivers side interior A-pillar off once, it was pretty easy to get off. After the dealer screwed up a TSB for the keyless entry and my interior lights stopped working.

See attached.

LOL. Reminds me of when I took apart the upper left dashboard on our 2021 myself and packed it with adhesive felt. This was after the lazy dealer "could not find" the loud squeaking noise that sounds just like a squeaking dog toy. So glad we have this forum and all the owner knowledge that comes with it.

This is for dash cam install but he talks removal of the A-pillar. 10:00 mark.
