Default Retrofit / Upgrade Domestic Plug Socket

Next mod, the Domestic Plug socket - inverter is only capable till 180w. Not very useful except charging some devices.
So out with the old one and upgrade to an 12v 1500w Pure Sinus Wave inverter.
Location in my case under the loadspace in my Hardtop / Commercial.

Next power supply, this inverter can take up to 100 amps. So I had to make made new 0 awg Power cables of 4.5 ft. Direct on the Battery after the BMS.

First testing with the remote on/off - monitoring display

Testing the Nespresso Essenza Mini coffeemaker ( 1100w) on the Mudstuff table

So now I have to finish with a new Domestic Plug Socket ( Schuko in Europe) , the look will be almost like stock.

So a lot better prepared now for overlanding, or just lunch with coffee.
Will finish this week and upload the final picture.

I added the 2nd battery and a 1000 watt inverter along with solar and the alternator charging both batteries when running. I also set up my domestic fridge freezer to run directly off the battery.

Great work.

You guys have made some amazing mods.

Question: I am not planning on Overlanding; however, I would like to increase capacity of the domestic plug in the cargo area to allow use of a 600 watt electric tea kettle. Without going crazy; could it be as easy as swapping the OEM inverter with a larger one? Would I have to replace the outlet itself as well?

On that note: where is the OEM inverter located?

No you can not just swap this inverter for a more powerful one.
You also can not use the outlet, needs to be replaced for a normal domestic one.

The inverter is located nearby the EAS unit, in the rear right side.
