My D90 has the fabric roof. Not as loud as I thought, very solid. It's been in heavy Rian with no issues. 6500 km so far.

Love having it open in the nice weather. Only downside is that it's not to be used with the expedition roof rack (though it fits) - though you can still use the cross bars and other accessories.

Wondering how the fabric roof is holding up for those who've had it for a couple of years now?
Especially anyone who lives in a climate where you deal with high heat in the summer and cold temps in the winter.

I'm 18 months in. Its over 100F in the summer and under -40F in the winter (sustained often for weeks). No concerns or issues with it at all. It's not a fabric roof like you'd think with a Wrangler. It's multiple thick laters with a metal frame inside.

I live in CT and have had it about a year. No issues at all and I love it.

Awesome glad to hear! Considering a D90 with it and was starting to second guess whether or not it made sense in Minnesota. It would be in a garage at all times when not on the road.

I went canvas, it’s great, really big opening and even at local hand car wash pressure wash, not a drop inside.

I have had no issues at all. Love the openness.

We only take it to a hand wash place and never had issue there.

I only hand was mine as well. Honestly I only hand was my wife’s 130 as well. Automatic car washes are terrible on your car cloth top or hard top. Nothing beats a soft clean wash mitt when taking care of your car.
