Folks,

Found a new set of OEM roof rails that I'm interested in but have a question. The ones being sold have the part # VPLCR0131 which come up as being for a Discovery, the owner says he put one on his Defender and ended up with an extra. The part number for Defenders is VPLER0178.

If they're the same and work interchangeably then great, I tend to carry a fair amount of weight (sailboat) so want to ensure it's the same and will provide the same carrying capabilities.
