Default Seeking advice on a purchase - 2021/2022 Defender 110 S/SE

Hello folks!

I’m in the process of test driving two Defenders and am seeking some advice on a pre owned purchase.

I have been looking at two vehicles: 2022 2.0L 4 Cylinder 110 S with 22k miles and a 2021 4.0L 6 Cylinder 110 SE with 48k.

I’ve been in love with this vehicle since childhood and am finally ready to take the plunge. We have 3 boys so this fits the bill despite not having a 3rd row. We have another larger vehicle for more bodies .

My questions…. is the 4 Cylinder a better purchase with the lower 22k miles over the 6 cylinder with 48k miles? Is the 6 Cylinder more reliable? Any major issues I should be concerned about? This will be my daily driver, but I work primarily from home so less concerned about gas mileage.

We also have some land that we can use this on and have started skiing with our boys. I did own a 2008 Discovery many years ago but it was a bit of a mess.

Any advice would be appreciated!

My apologies, looks like I posted in wrong thread. Moving this over to the 202 Defender discussion.

go wih the newer car and the four cylinder. They keep improving this car as well as the software that runs it. The 4cyl thanks out almost 300 HP it’s plenty strong.
