2025 110 P525

Dash is showing a "Service Required" message at 865 miles. I purchased the car new in February of this year. Did my own oil change at 500 miles, with an additional change planned for 1500 miles, then every 5K. I did not reset reminders after my 500 mile change.

Has anyone else received this message after such minimal mileage? Anyone know what service the dealer would perform other than an oil change? Next step is to ask the dealer (2 hours away) but thought I'd check here first.

I received the same message but at 150 miles and I called the service dept. The advisor said since the car was 2 years old it flags for 2 year svc which is brake fluid change, oil and cabin air swap IIRC. So from a mileage perspective we are aligned but time Im not sure how to explain your scenario.

 

The service messages on Defenders is based on time. If your 2025 P525 was delivered to the dealer sometime during 2024, that message would be correct. The 8 cylinders Defenders sold slow in certain market. Just take it to the dealer and have them reset it.
