Silicon with Eiger in the background. Silicon has a lot of brown notes to it and it color shifts depending on lighting.

My eyes aren't good enough to pay that much extra for the difference between the two shades in that pic but I can appreciate those who do. I'm all for anyone who intends to get exactly what they want when they're spending this much money for a vehicle.

 

I wonder what the percentage difference is in the metallic's added for premium metallic paint?

I saw British racing green on a range rover which was advertised as a special paint. It was pretty impressive but was like a 9K cost option.

 

I bet that looked cool. I still can't shake the look from my mind of that Stelvio in green with the yellow calipers. I don't know if you've heard of Howard Hanna real estate, well that car was a company car I saw in my local area, it had their logo on the door. I just think that's so cool for a business to go with that as a company car. Yea a Defender in that same green would be cool IMO. I do love my Carpathian with the white roof and steelies though. Another good look IMO is someone out here I forgot who it is, has the Tasman with the black roof and black wheels. Not bad at all that one! That might actually be my second favorite.
