Inater, if you want the extra clip from the unit I bought, I can send it to you, free of charge. It might help your dealer speed things up, or you can tackle it yourself.

I really appreciate that. I am waiting for an update today from the dealer and depending on timing I may take you up on that. Will DM you if so!

Thanks again,

Ian

Ha they just said it came in... Also @Drewes since they put a piece of foam in the box to push down that connection I haven't had any issues and it was happening multiple times a day. So I do have faith that it will resolve your issue as well.

Then that shroud piece is easily removed by snipping the black nylon zip tie and prying the four corners off their male stand-offs on the electrical connector underneath.

I won't get to attempting the install (which should also be easy) until a few days from now. Does anyone think I should do anything before hand? If I just wiggle the connector up and out, is it going to disrupt anything in the system? I would assume not, since this connector is already wiggling itself up and out repeatedly.

Has this fixed the issue for you? I have not seen it when driving normally after the clip and was getting it once to twice a day. I did get stuck at the bottom of a very steep sandy hill in Big Sur and had to use some hp to get up and when bouncing all over the place I did get the alert but it cleared itself after a few minutes once stable.

So approx 5k miles since the clip with only that one issue. Curious to see what your results have been.
