Default Spacers with 18” steel wheels

Has anyone installed spacers on their 18" wheels and can share photos/which spacers they have used?

I have heard varying advice on whether you can use spacers or not, looking for some guidance.

I used my grinder with a very thin grinding wheel for removing a few mm of the studs.
Finishing and rounding with a sanding disk on the same grinder low speed.

Stud lenghts are 27 or 28 mm, for my front spacers of 22 mm I removed 4 or 5 mm
for the rear spacers max 3 mm.

Most important is to check if the steel wheels alingn straight to the spacer.
Wheels and spacers are Torqued to 139 Nm as factory specs.

I used the H & R spacers, see link

Thanks for this! It's lines like this in the item description which give me pause: Using steel wheels in combination with DRM system ist generally not possible!

Is it just a question of alignment?

The orinal studs need to be flat straight/inside with the spacer.

so only for a spacer of 30 mm or wider, no further action is required

see this link, he explains
