We had to modify the ladder's base. It took some work but we made it work and I really like the end result. Pics in this other thread.

lift rods are cheap enough to try. i would say go with the 1.5 and see if that helps. if not your going to need to trim and work the fender liners

Do you have any details on what / where you exactly trimmed on the fender liners? Any insight appreciated. I have 275/60/20 set up with rotiform stl(offset 30) with Toyo AT3s, 1.5 lift rods and am getting slight rub in all heights. Thanks
