Speakers: apparently I have 10 plus sub? I don't have Meridian Surround, the Meridian mark is there. Clearly 6 up front, each door has a 165mm / 6.5" at the bottom, 4" / 100mm midrange midway up, and tweeter up top.

Back seat is the same without the midrange 4" / 100mm? How do you tell if you have 700watts? It appears that I do.

What exactly is hiding under the seat(s). I assume an 8" / 200mm or 10"?

 

Anyway, the back can wait, but I will similarly equip.

Are those tweeters separately driven, or do the pirate off the lower speaker?

 

According to Land Rover, the “Meridian” systems are 10 speaker and have 400w. The “Meridian Surround” are 14 speaker and have 700w. There does not appear to be a 10 speaker system with 700w.

 

Makes perfect sense. I read horror stories about new 23 Deefers being delivered with 6.

I am replacing mine with Focal KX2 + 4" Neodymium bullet mids + German silk domes front and back, all 2ohm. I don't sit in the back, but Infinity Kappa 60CSX 165mm /

Not sure about the subwoofer - yet.

 

I don't think 4" mids will fit in the doors, 3" max.
For the rear you have to do a lot of cutting for fitting decent 6'5" speakers.

Hmmm... Go figure? I guess a 3.5" will work, as long as not too deep? No 75 or 85mm by Focal, but Morel and Hertz make 3.5" ones.

Maybe JL Audio or Alpine? Dunno, needs to be 2 ohm. I found a great JL Audio 3.5" but it's 4.ohm.
