Sunglass holder removed?
Ordered mine (in "Oyster") as well.
OMG...Just watched PowerfulUK video (mostly). My take on this is that all of that finicky little spring, pivot, cog, catch points stuff is breaking in the real world. I could NOT see a tech in a service garage dealing with this. Those console would be broken or thrown across the garage...and then broken. I would wager that LR pulled it until a better design can be established and molded into the console design. My bet...the little click-locks are failing maybe at the cog. All it take is a slip for the spring to be wrong, the owner pulling on it to fix it then taking it to the dealer to figure out which parts need to be ordered...and then breaking it again during install. COVID supply chain issues made it easy to convince management. Seriously...hot glue?...a clue

My ‘22 has 20,000 miles now and I pretty much hit that sunglass holder twice every single time I get in the truck, unless it’s after dark. I have very light-sensitive eyes and always wear sunglasses, even on overcast days. And it still works perfectly.
The finicky little parts are broken by customers...as should be expected. The resulting warranty repair is a ridiculous choreography to be executed by Bud in service while he is seated in the employee break room...with his readers on. His fix results in a new parts order including the console frame. Its a poop design (as evidenced by the hot glue?) whose correct fix (likely a console frame) is costly. This minimize-your-losses (warranty service) approach is not new and is historically a valid reason for surprises like missing items or changes in trim level feature mid-model year. In our new world, 90% of all issues must be caused by mismanaging supply chain or maximizing profits or they just don't like us.
