V8 models running in period
Well, it’s the same faults that appeared before and the dealer spent 2 weeks “fixing”.
The car does not throw any codes or light up any dashwarnings… Seems like it appears like every tenth time I start it. So probably something electrical….

Question for those that has bought a brand new V8 model. Have you adhered to the running-in recommendations? No kick-down acceleration, no high revs when cold, running on high gear at low speeds etc for 3000kms (1900miles).
Im guessing a lot of customers do not care about that.
I have been driving like an old lady but am having trouble with my new 130 V8 and the dealer is trying to blame the running in period. They already had to change the fuel rail pressure sensor and some other crankshaft sensor. Now it still jerks a bit when changing gear under slight load. They said not to use Dynamic mode for the full running in period but that is not what the protocol say. Needless to say I am pissed off.
Anyone else had jerky gearchanges?
