Tow options are not affected by the V8 to the best of my knowledge. I have the towing group on mine the best bet is to call a dealer and order from them. I just built one and the towing pack appears to be standard on V8 builds. I didnt even see an option to NOT have it or remove it.

Can you send me a link to your build? I am not seeing it on mine. Thanks!

Ignore - I see it now. Very odd. I deleted my cache/cookies in my browser and it appeared.

Thanks for the help!

Couple of questions as I'm potentially looking at a 90 V8:
  • How has the matte paint held up? Does it survive bird bombs, rock chips ok?
  • How is the ride quality with the 22" wheels compared to the other trims' 20" wheels?
  • Can you easily swap the V8's 22" wheels for 20" to improve ride quality and affordability? Or are things tuned so specifically for the 22's that the 20's have issues?

My truck came black and I had it wrapped. It’s self healing and really protects the vehicle and its a mix of matte and gloss. I have 20 inch wheels and I made it part of my deal to swap out the 22s. I actually think its a couple hundred bucks to swap from 22s to 20s if you spec a build. But I wanted the most sidewall I could get for trail riding. There’s nothing “tuned” for 22s from land rover in the V8.

After a six month break driving a 110 x-dyn I will be back in a V8 in the morning. Super pumped. Closed on a 2023 Carpathian tonight. Pics to follow.

A nice surprise that I didn’t know. He entire vehicle is wrapped. All of the non satin wrapped components have a clear wrap on them. Roof, mirrors, tailgate, hood A Pillars I mean everything. Not sure what that cost.

Thank you all for all the great info in this thread, especially about the Milltek exhaust for the US version of the V8 (P525). I think I’ve settled on the non-resonated version. I have had a RR Sport with the same engine and thought the stock exhaust was great in both volume and sounds including the pops and burbles and the blow off sound between shifts. But the SVR sound was more desirable so if the non-res Milltek is more like the SVR, then that’s the one I want.

Question: is the stock exhaust all one piece or does it come apart in pieces? Have to start planning for how to get it home from the shop if it is all one piece!

I believe the stock exhaust is all in one piece. There is another thread which talks about resonated vs non-resonated so make sure you get the one you want.
