But the SVR sound was more desirable so if the non-res Milltek is more like the SVR, then that’s the one I want.

Question: is the stock exhaust all one piece or does it come apart in pieces? Have to start planning for how to get it home from the shop if it is all one piece!
This is the thread with great info. https://landroverforums.com/forum/20...k-p400-120938/

Just for your info. The exhaust sounds different in the Defender V8 than in the RR Sport V8. It is a little louder than in the regular RR Sport V8, but not as loud as in the SVR version.

That’s the same as me. I had an X on order with anticipated delivery of 08/09. I noticed a V8 CE popped up in their website on Thursday. Called my sales rep on Friday, looked at it and drove it on Saturday and ended up buying it.

I kept wavering after I ordered if I should just order a 2025 V8. Vintage Tan is no longer available in 2025 and that was a dealer breaker for me. The Vintage Tan in the extended leather is absolutely gorgeous.

The dealer is installing classic mudflaps and black fixed sidesteps today. I am supposed to pick up tomorrow morning. Super duper stoked!!

I've joined the club with a a 2023 Lantau Bronze Defender V8 110. I was originally interested in a black/black used V8 110 at my dealer with 9500miles. It sold and I ended up with this one with 28,000 miles and a CPO warranty. It appears it hasn't had any issues in that timeframe so fingers crossed all is well long term. I'm good on a warranty until nearly 2028 so that's a positive. I have wheels, tires, exhaust, and mudflaps on order and I plan on doing a few PPF exterior changes. So far I absolutely dig this vehicle! My last off roader was a 2016 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road (access cab) that was fully kitted out. I'm planning something similar here but taming it down a bit keeping things classier. Tacoma was over the top w/ full armor, 35's, etc.

Congrats and welcome. The L663 V8 is an amazing vehicle. I had sidesteps and classic mud flaps installed on mine at delivery. I’m getting ready to the pull the trigger on a resonated Milltek Exhaust.

Thank you! Yes, I am very happy thus far. I have the Chelsea Truck Co gloss black exhaust incoming and 20" Maxxis Razr AT's w/ Kahn Design Mondial 4 spoke wheels. I think it'll be a nice combo. Milltek is definitely a nice choice as well.

I took a moment today to snap some pictures. I wanted to compare the shades of silver of my M5 to this as they're very similar and work well with light. Hopefully yall won't mind a non LR comparison.

Got my wheels, tires, and exhaust (mostly) on. I am waiting for additional missing hardware. It sounds incredible! Wheel/tire combo feels very similar to stock. Barely any additional noise. Comfort is better as they're meatier sidewalls and 20" not 22". Going to do the mudflaps today.

Oh wow! I love the wheels and am curious how the next exhaust sounds? I’m getting super close to pulling the trigger on a Miltek Resonated Cat Back system.

I have that on my CE 110, which I actually have for sale now, the whole car not the exhaust. And it was a huge upgrade in driving enjoyment. The sound is perfect. Not too loud or obnoxious at all, just right to where you can enjoy.
