Caraway definitely isn't light. It actually looks much nicer than I expected. I was picking up my D110 from the dealership after getting my first service and having some accessories installed. In the showroom there was a RRS win BRG with Caraway interior. It looks really nice. Personally, I still prefer VT, I like the orangey "peanut butter" color.

I have to agree they are both solid and more interesting than your every day black. I really wanted something diff than black but inventory was low for the other packages I wanted back in June and I didn't want to wait 5 months for an order. Also MY25 there were no grays or silvers really for exterior color except Carpathian/Silicon. Every VT I saw in person had the two-tone ebony which I was not a huge fan of. I would have liked to see a full VT interior in person. Looks fantastic in photos! I do not think you will be disappointed with Caraway (it's luxurious) unless you've had a lot of tan interiors recently.

All my latest programing and settings updates that I have made to my 90 V8 this past week or so.

After receiving my GAP tool.
I now have the start stop set to stay off.
I have the brake hold feature disabled.
I have the full configurable dynamic mode now enabled and added to my home screen.
Which that has allowed me to now run in dynamic mode to get my exhaust sound I wanted yet, set the ride to normal/comfort along with the steering I have set to normal comfort.

I have my exhaust valves set to stay open in dynamic mode.
Not GAP tool related but set my TPMS to light load since my TPMS light came on when my right rear tire dropped below 37 PSI when the weather cooled off. That setting change resolved that issue.

Octa wheels and Falken At3W AT tires were installed last week
PPF film was installed last week.
The windows were tinted the week before.
New LR premium carpet floor mats came in and are now installed.
My LR rear flat floor storage box is also now installed.
Rear bumper protection pad now installed.

Next week hopefully I will get my splash guards and new carbon fiber / leather steering wheel installed.

My LR Defender 90 V8 build is almost completed.
I am really loving this machine more and more as I make it my own with all these upgrades.

Are the wheels the same size and offset as the actual OCTA? Curious to how they fill those wide flares.

I am not sure but would not shock me if it isn't the exact same wheel. I say that becasue the LR centercaps still fit perfectly, and those odd ball speciallty lug nuts are still required to run them.
The Tire shop that I bought my tires from and mounted them mentioned they thought they were OEM LR wheels.
I have little doubt LR sources their wheels from China, same as about every other auto mfg does, which is where my Octa wheels shipped from.
They are 20x9 with a +30 offset.

I am not sure, but I think the reason for wide body treatment on the OCTA, has to do with its special hydraulic suspension system.
I am 99% sure it is not coming from the wheels and tires.

I am thinking it is sort like how a Ford Raptor or RAM TRX needs or gets it wide body treatment to accommodate the long travel suspension systems on those trucks.
Those trucks wheels will fit on regular F150s and RAMs.

Were you asking if that is what I am running. If so mine are 275/55R20s
I just didn't want to take any chances with clearances.

That might be what new Octa model is going to be running 275/60R20s.
I have read so many articles and looked at so many different videos and pics of tire combos over the past few weeks they are starting to run together in my head. lol

The only drawback was that I ordered a Carpathian Grey X and the V8 was Yulong white. The white was my second choice, but at least it came with the full Vintage Tan interior, which was a huge bonus to me over the X. Fast forward to last month, I'm still loving the Defender, and planned to keep it for at least a few more years, with the idea of just replacing it with a new one when the time came. Then I saw that they are doing away with the Vintage Tan interior (huge mistake!), and the wheels started turning. I looked around and found one V8 in Carpathian Grey with Tan interior (There were several Carpathian Editions, but I prefer the gloss over the matte). I mentioned the idea of trading now to get the color combo I wished I had to my wife, expecting her to tell me it was a waste of money (which I agreed with), but instead she said I should do it since she liked the grey better too. So, before she came to her senses, the white Defender was gone and the new Carpathian Grey one was in the garage. It may not have been the best financial decision, but I couldn't be happier. It took about a week to get it detailed, PPF applied, running boards and mud guards installed and the rear bumper cover from Powerful UK applied, but it's now exactly how I want it.

Beautiful! were there any significant changes in the V8 model betweek 2023 and 2024?

I don’t see the blue calipers anymore, but don’t know when they stopped making them.

I believe that was a 1 year only feature back in 2022. I believe the 23 and 24 v8s are black.
