I have Configurable Dynamics programmed on my P300, but the difference in suspension stiffness is not much. The V8 trucks have the active anti-roll bars, which helps a lot.
Yea, I see a custom configurable mode, but I do not see where I can make any changes within the preset Dynamic mode.
I have not tried to set that mode up yet.
I thought I would wait for the GAP tool to come in later this week and see what it can do.

Is the configurable mode in the Terrain Response menu? If so, that is Configurable Terrain Response, not Configurable Dynamics. Configurable Dynamics is located on the home menu. To get to it, click the home icon on the bottom left hand side of the screen, then scroll down until you see Dynamic-i. Click that, and you can change dynamic setup, pull up the G-meter or you can use the lap timer, which is similar to Porsche's Sport Chrono pack (minus the performance hardware/software enhancements). Like I said, I can't remember if the V8 has it or not, but it can definitely be programmed in.

Hello, just purchased a ‘24 Carpathian Gray Defender two weeks ago and love it!! Looking to change the stock wheels/tires to Vossen 20” HF-2’s with Nitto Recon Grappler 275/55/R20’s. My question has anyone made a similar swap? My concern is what offset to put on the Vossen Wheels, I have not been able to find what the stock rim offset is. Thanks in advance.

I have a V8 Carpathian also and recently swapped the 22s for 20s. I can’t recall the offset on the OEM 22s, however the spec is 39.5 - 43.5

I am running with a set of Drag wheels with a +33 offset using GoodYear Wrangler Adventurer All Terrain
(255/60 - 20) without any issues.

I had a set of Black Rhinos with a +10 offset that had rubbing issues with the 255/60s.

My winter tires are Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV 275/55-20 on +35 offsets without problems.

From my limited experience, there are some variances with tire size/geometries and it might take some experimenting. TireRack.com was a good resource for me for tires and wheel fit up (although I had to go elsewhere for the Hakkapeliitta tires)

My OEM 22s on a 2024 130X are 41.5mm offset

What spec wheels are you running the Nokian on? I want to get 20 inch wheels for winter tires on mine but the ones I currently have from my old Discovery V are 8.5 inch wide and the 255/60R20 tires that would best match the current size are not available in the Hakka R5

We were about to place deposit on a soon-arriving 2025 V8, so today I took my wife down so she could test drive a V8 the dealer had on the lot. She was super underwhelmed by the performance :-(. My wife was really surprised how gutless the V8 Defender felt compared to her previous SUVs (Jeep SRT, SQ8, Rivian R1S (obviously nothing is going to compare to the Rivian), there just wasn't much power. So disappointed that we walked away unsure if the V8 is really worth the upgrade and bummed there isn't a reasonable option for more power (I suppose the new V8TT will be more along the lines of what she wants... but that's not available today and when it is there an additional 50% price jump). I also jumped in the driver's seat and took it for a spin and it felt like an old, tired motor (which I suppose it is.) For anyone with the V8... long term are you happy with it? Was it worth the upgrade? The 6 wasn't fast, but it felt a little more responsive. This is the problem with always buying your wife fast cars :-/. She doesn't like the RRS... like the Defender,, but it's just slow. Love everything about the Defender... but trying to figure out which path to go on the motor.

There’s the Escalade V series. That’s likely the fastest large luxury SUV should be available for purchase today.

I think the AWD Hellcat powered Durango is coming back for 2025.

My Defender v8 is a 90 2dr.
I have to say I am pretty happy with the performance of mine. Just my opinion but 5 sec 0-60 4x4s are not exactly common place performance stats in the 4x4 SUV segment.
