Hi there - I had my PPF done by Made To Last Visual in Queens - great customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

I got tired of all the noise and vibration rattle of the rear plastic panels from the speakers, so I removed them and installed a pair of Bowers & Wilkins M1 speakers which sound great and look as OEM as you can get..

Made some little door inserts to keep stuff from moving around and making noise. 12x4 inch pieces fit perfectly. Here is what I bought in case anyone is interested.

I assume that if I mount the light bar below the cross-bar, the wind noise is going to be the same as it is now. Correct? Also, if I get a fairing and then add the light bar on top of the cross bar, would that be pointless?

Thanks in advance for the guidance!
Hey! Sorry I totally missed this! I was able to move the fairing up and now it's just as quiet or more than it was before I had the light bar. It fits perfectly under the bar and looks great.

I was also really not wanting to put the bar underneath since I figured this would create more wind noise. Not sure if you have a fairing on your expedition rack but if there was a way you could have it coming out forwards like this with the fairing underneath I would think it would eliminate a lot of the noise for you.

Voyager rack has been installed. Now to put lights on the rack. Does anyone have any recommendations other than the Baja designs?

You're right they are great home speakers that don't vibrate the rear cabin plastic..
As part of one of my home B&W home systems I thought I'd get another pair for the Defender 90.

Also a pair of powered JBL subwoofers..

@Lnberger - That looks great!! Post more pics. Is the front/air dam also Voyager? Does it not have a "floor"? Really would appreciate links to what you got as a full time lurker & planner of switching my OEM's out.

Front air dam is Voyager. It's Three panels that you can remove the sections you want. Mine does not have the floor but you can order a rack with a mesh grate floor. There are mounting brackets on the front for lights.
