30mm H&R spacers went on the rear (front no spacers) for a slightly staggered look

Looking great. What cases do you have on the rack? More pictures of those? Been looking at ROAM but not decided for sure yet. Looking at options.

Spent most of the day in the driveway/garage. I did the caliper mod a few days ago, added the wheel spacers and test fit the Pilbaras today. Still trying to decide on tires. In the meantime the stock 19s went back on, looks pretty good for stock wheels and tires. Also built up the Frontrunner rack, just have to mount the feet tomorrow.

I spy an E30 track car! It appears we're on the same wavelength as far as boxy white vehicles and interests

I have the same Milwaukee roller setup too. Makes for a great trackside tool setup!

Good eye, can’t help myself, boxy white vehicles just speak to me. This specific boxy white e30 has a S52 swapped in. I joke with my BMW race car buddies that the Defender is basically a BWM, 5x120 bolt pattern, straight 6, and Brembos.

Finished installing the rack at lunch today. Still trying to figure out tires for the Pilbaras, stand by….

Nice, I built one for my wife over the past decade. We put an S54 in it and recently just had a full cage put in. It was a riot and now at ~2400lbs, should be even more fun!

Definitely a bit of BMW DNA in these cars from when they owned Rover. I just sold my E70 X5 after looking for a replacement for a few years. The Defender ticked nearly all the boxes as a replacement... took a long time for other manufacturers to catch up and make something comparable (Porsche notwithstanding, but I don't need a $140k daily).

Motorsport motors in an e30 are the magic sauce. I bet the S54 is a riot, especially at that weight. The white car is about 2600 with me in it, it’s a W2W car so full cage, big brakes, the whole 9 yards. Lots of fun.

I installed my new side gear carriers.

No dodgy carbon fiber to worry about with these.

Loads of extra storage.

Love the BMW race cars! We raced a an 89 e30 M3 in J Stock with BMW Club Racing. Also raced an e36 325i in J Prepared and ITS with SCCA and eventually moved to and S54 swapped e36 M3 LTW in C Mod.
