@GrouseK9 For an excellent guide on retrofitting the clearsight mirror go to https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic88338.html. There is gentleman named Marco who is absolutely brilliant about putting together retrofits on his Defender He is the person who provided the inspiration and guidance for me to attempt and successfully install the mirror on my car.

@Groucho123 Yes there is power that you could tap from the mirror however I would recommend that you pull it from your overhead console. Simon over at PowerfulUK has a plug and play loom that can provide power (both switched and constant) that alleviates the need to cut into your Defender’s wiring. https://www.powerfuluk.com/collectio...-defender-l663
He also sells preconfigured looms for a couple of dashcams. The cost is a little pricey at about $50 US dollars but the convenience is well worth it.

Finally installed a front undershield this week. I thought it would be a bit more difficult than it actually was. Apart from having to cut a bit more plastic bumper than I originally planned, everything lined up and bolted in fine. I rate this a 1 out 5 on the difficulty scale.

I drove up to Rovers North and had them install the ProLine side steps. Really great people and a very cool shop - stoked with the product, price and service.

Is this a factory piece with the extra support or the quick install one made by a third party?

I cleaned and Gummi Pfledged all my door/trunk weather stripping and the car is so quiet now. I didn’t realize how squeaky it has gotten over the years. This stuff is awesome.

Had my wheels powder coated. So much better than the silver!

Looks good! How did the process work? Take them to a tire shop for tire removal, then drop off at powder coater, then back to tire shop? How long were you without wheels/tires?
