Why won't my Defender's software update?

FWIW I was at 3.3.0 and after reading this thread (and not receiving any notifications that an update - 3.3.1 or 3.3.2 - was available) I went to check my current version and, voila, 3.3.2 was installed. Apparently I lost the ability to decide and never got any notifications. The car simply went ahead and updated itself without even bother telling me - before or after the update was complete. Since I went from 3.3.0 to 3.3.2 I assume the improvements of 3.3.1 were included. The car seems a bit more tuned-in with acceleration and ACC, but it can all be placebo effect. Who knows?

I am not one to believe in enchanted tree branches and the phases of the moon... but I tried it and it worked. This morning I had my better half set up an extra wireless hub in the garage (by the Defender). There's no ethernet wire, so it's set up as a mesh network / repeater of the signal in the main house. Prior to this, I would notice the car sporadically connect to main house wifi, usually only 1 bar usually of signal thru all the concrete and walls.
And I'll be darned if I didn't get the 3.3.2 update today, from 3.3.0. Immediately after setting up the better wifi network. I doubt this is a coincidence.
Other factors:
--Deefer had been on a battery charger last week. I usually give it a go overnight once a month.
-- I turned off cellular connection / etc. which is what someone else here proposed
It skipped 3.3.1. I still wonder if when you get a later update, if it skips the prior one. I'm still waiting for my 30 seconds of "auto resume" in queue assist/ACC from 3.2.0a -- I only get the 3 sec.

The Cameras shortcut should be under App Launch if you haven’t already looked through there. Maybe a reboot of pivi could help. I’ve had to do that when my meridian surround options disappeared randomly

What does the Meridian Surround option look like? I have Surround in my vehicle (130) but the Audio options only show Stereo or Meridian. It seems like "Surround" should be an option there based on what I've read.
