Hello, I just purchased a new 2021 Evoque SE. The first week of having it, there have been apple carplay and android auto issues where the screen would flicker once it is connected. Using original cables to connect phones. But maybe the past 3 days it hasnt flickered. What disturbed us the most is that one day when I woke up, I found out that both mine and my wife's profile were deleted randomly! All of our settings, radio station favorites, and app that we downloaded in the onfortainment system like Spotify were all deleted and erased one morning. We were disappointed to know that we would have to set it up all over again.
I was wondering if it was maybe a software update that was needed to fix these issues so when I went to settings and hit software update, the screen just shows "name:" and "installed:" and that is it. The rest was blank and it did not show me what software update I was on or the last time the software was updated. See pictures attached.
I also connected to my home wifi to see if there are any new updates but I did not get any notification of a new update and I couldnt find anywhere in settings to check if there is a new update...
Since it is a new car, I have brought it into Land Rover Pasadena and so far, they have had it for 11 days and still cant figure it out. I told them that its odd that my software update screen was blank and they just keep telling me that the infotainment system is up to date since theres no new notification of a new update. But I wanted to know what software version my car is on so I can compare to see if it is the most recent update on the land rover website. Even when asked how a person is suppose to check what update they are on, they told me they dont know but that they can do a diagnosis and see on their own computer what update my car is on. I feel like there should be a way to find that out without having to bring the car in and Land rover connecting it to their software just to see what version update my car is on. They gave me a loaner Defender to drive and when I looked at the soft ware update on the defender, it showed me the name of the software the car is on, time and date it was last updated, and information on what the update was (see 2nd picture). But my car, on the same screen, is just blank with no information.
Anyone gone through something like this? First time with land rover and only had the car for 1 week and already some infotainment issues... pretty disappointing. The Loaner vehicle Defender they gave me which did have the missing information that I was looking for on my Evoque

Got a booking with a dealer in a couple weeks. If any have info, please share. Talking with dealer on the phone makes me think they have no clue.

i reset all of the connectivity options then held down the power button for about 15 seconds. It did a hard reset and the Apple Car Play stopped flickering. I also noticed the cameras stopped randomly turning on when I had the brake hold on, or was slowing down to a crawl speed and was around other cars. Hope you get/got it sorted out.

I have a question about the PIVI PRO update: my car RRE EVOQUE P300e dates from March 2021 and it has not received an update and besides it does not indicate the current version.
LIVE APPS side I received only one update in June when connecting to wifi and since nothing.
For example, it seems that the weather plugin is already in version 3.
According to other people there was a PIVI PRO update in July and another in August 2021.
Which version do you have PIVI PRO and LIVE APPS?
Could you take screenshots please ?
