I'm getting a clear ceramic film installed on the outside windshield tomorrow, it's going to cost $700 which is nuts but what is even more nuts, I will be lucky to get 2/3 years out of it before it needs to be replaced.
My Defender 90 is not my daily driver so I'm hoping to get more out of it so we will see.

 

Yeah, I had PPF put on my hood and front bodywork and windshield protection film installed the week I picked up our '23 Defender 110 (8/22). Drove it just under 3k miles so far (including a trip from New Orleans to Green Bay and back last week -- with a long detour through Ohio to pick up a puppy. Lots of windshield noise from significant windshield strikes but no chips or cracks!! So far, it seems like it was worth the $600. I can see some slight indentions and "splinters" in the film where rocks hit, but the glass isn't damaged.

Had to replace the windshield twice on our 21 110, in fact, I flew to Raleigh, NC to pick it up, and the glass got cracked on the drive back to NOLA. That sucked.
