@gtbeale (or anyone) - which wood did you get? The one in the above picture.
Walnut, big fan

We seem to have very similar taste. I even have that Yeti 32oz in that color in my console.
No DeMan conversion for me, though. After several big hp Porsches the 981 GT4 suits me just fine. Even 6 years in it’s still right in my wheelhouse with just a Soul header and Softronic tune to smooth out the flat spot.
But it’s probably best I never drive a 4.5 conversion, for the same reason 6-year-sober alcoholics ought not drink a glass of Scotch.
That's hilarious, yup it's me.
Yes, don't drive a 4.5, it'll ruin it for you

Anyway, @gtbeale Corey - this is Joe who bought your Clubman a few years ago on Rennlist. It was short lived, but the novelty from that little thing was great! Somehow it evolved into a G Wagen, so at least net impact was probably pretty even?
LOL no way! This world is small and amazing. That was such a great little car, I periodically think about it b/c it was also a great spec (IMHO) and I had a weird soft spot for it. Confirmed, even net impact

LOL, more overlap -- my 2014 Cooper S Clubman Hyde Park Edition 6-speed, sold last summer when prices went crazy and I got an offer I couldn't walk away from, since I wasn't using the MINI much anymore.

Too funny! Yeah the spec was actually super cool. Appreciate the validation. Now how can I rationalize the gaggle of 12 cylinders that are in the fold? Eek.

Amazing. I guess we're a bit monolithic in our preferences.

Is that a 996 Turbo in the garage? Another laugh. I had a 2002 Arctic Silver X50 until 2013.
If you still have the Turbo you need to get the Bumper Plug guy to paint the black bumper caps on either side of the license!

I had the walnut trim pack added a few months after purchasing my P400SE - it was expensive buying and installing through the dwaler but it was definitely worth it - adds a nice touch of refinement in an otherwise pretty utilitarian interior:
