Anyone know the color / brand / type of vinyl wrap that is on the Trophy Edition Defenders? (ie the exact product used, not a substitute or close match to the yellow). It's for an upcoming build/ project on an old LR that I'm going to have wrapped in the same scheme.
It is a digitally printed wrap. Very custom color. Difficult if not impossible to match. One company in NJ makes the wrap kit. Can still be purchased thru the dealer but proof of ownership of a trophy with vin is required.
I've been on the fence re: putting a wrap on mine or painting it. I've seen both, I have pros/cons each way.
In your case, the "wrap" would only go on the lower end of the vehicle. Maybe not even the hood. Can't tell from the pic. But, given the fact that it's a very custom color (I want British Racing Green, and it's not) and that it's only ~1/2 the vehicle - you should look into having it painted. Ymmv.

Gotcha. Dang, makes sense.
I've had basically no luck with finding a good color match to the old Sandglow /etc yellow in a wrap.
Never been a Camel Trophy groupie, but that really is starting to grow on me. A few Q's: Anyone have more pics of the L663 version? I'd like to see what the hood looks like. Anyone know what the color code for that might be?
I like the color. Just a shame they didn't go the whole hog and build one worthy of the title.
Some yellow 18" steels to match, a winch (not just the cradle), and some interior/exterior stuff like on the Trek. That one has all manner of unique little Easter eggs. It's really the Trophy they should have made from the get go. Just the wrong color.
Sorry to get off topic Nash. Best of luck with your paint search
