We traveled from Perkins peak to Puntzi lake, this was largely hiway as the resources roads take you 4 to 6 hours out of the way. At Puntzi lake we were staying in the property surrounding club members Cabin. Now we are all thinking a small one or two room cabin.
What he actually had was :
2 log cabins single room
A large single wide trailer park type trailer with surrounding deck
A large 2 vehicle workshop with another under construction
He graciously offered one of the a cabins, and as I was right there I grabbed it. The weather looked dodgy and it would save me from folding a wet tent. As it turned out the rain did not appear.

The next morning we had breakfast at small lodge on the neighboring property, a forest fire had destroyed their buildings a couple of years previous and they got a nice income boost from us. Excellent buffet as with lot to eat.
Day 7 was a shorter drive but largely off road again - we traveled from Puntzi lake to Pear lake to stage for going home. 3 Trucks headed west to Bella Coola as they had not been there before.
Our 1st stop would be some old ranch buildings, this site used to be drive to but has been gated off recently due to vandalism. You can still walk in though.
Day 8 was largely Hiway as we headed for home, we had 3 hours of gravel then about 4 of hiway. The bulk of the group took hi way 99 through Lillooet and Whistler to Vancouver, it is a beautfil drive but for me longer as I am an hour east of Vancouver. So choose Hi way 12 this is 2 lane hiway that is very quiet from Lillooet to Lytton where is hits hiway one and then home. Lytton was largely burnt to the ground during a forest fire about 3 years ago.
