Default Need some help with a DII radio gremlin

Hello, community

So my 2001 Disco DII has had some recent developments. For a while the radio stopped working. This happened after it got its valve cover gaskets and rear main seal done. So the radio just would not work, no electricity the tape wouldn't eject no power on no light nothing. Then out of the blue, the radio decides to turn ITSELF on. This happens even when the car is off! It's drained the battery twice after having turned on at night when I was asleep. The radio basically decides on its own when to turn on and off...I have no control over that. Any ideas what this could be?

Best,
Carlos

Look for ground bond wire from block to firewall or frame to be disturbed due to work done. Maybe the Aux Circuits relay in under hood box is sticking on. See page 101 of 126 in the circuits manual for that year in the RAVE. Also look for other grounds knocked loose.
