Default Electrical gremlin - need help

Left my key on for 3 hours and now GPS screen is white and will not turn off - also can not adjust radio volume. Is there a reset for this?

Thanks.

Thanks - will give it a try. In searching the forum this appears to be a common problem, usually when replacing the battery. Seems like their should be a simple solution.

By the way it is an 02 P38.

Try same practice again with head lights on, in theory the extra load of the head lights sometimes bleeds off small charges in the electrical system.

Pulled up a UK forum last night - this is a common problem - if disconnecting the battery and fuse does not solve the problem then the sat nav module is bad. Disconnected it and solved all my problems except no longer have nav which I never used. Saw a salvage unit on ebay for $189.

Thanks for everyone's help.
