underseat subs
before we start, I am not looking for a big boomy sound. I quite like the way the stock subwoofers fill in the music I play, which is mostly classical and classical/pop crossover. The problem is I will be fitting out the back for limited camping and not only will the platform block the existing subs, but I need the space they are in for storage.
I was looking at the JBL stadium series powered underseat subwoofer. Low frequency sound is omnidirectional, so I was thinking of putting it where the dying cd changer is when i upgrade the stereo in my landy. Does anybody have any experience with underseat mounted subwoofers?

Which Land Rover are you adding the underseat sub to?
I bought a 10” 800W Rockville RW10CA low profile sub last year and have been meaning to get it installed. I removed the dead CD changer under the front passenger seat of my Disco 2 and took some measurements to see if it would fit. that was as far as I got with it.
if anyone wants to know... the space under a Disco 2 passenger seat dimensions: 12"L x 14"W x 4"H roughly
