Yeah, that's the same thing l told my wife...she was like..."you need to start cleaning up after yourself."....l'm like..."l'm 59 and you expect me to start now?"

It's a live!

So, it took a "shelter in place" order to give me enough motivation and time to get this running. Over the last year, l've sold off most of my Dll "build" stuff...because l swore off Dll's as demon seeds and switched gears to a Defender...but l do still have a set of one inch lift spacers, rock sliders and a sleeping platform...so, a mild overland build for weekends or whatever may still hapen. However, let's just keep this on the "low-down"...since my wife "thinks" this is her back up rover.

that’s funny! My wife thinks that the D1 i’m working on is going to be her “backup Rover” too!
(it also took a shelter in place for me to get around to rebuilding the top end on this pile of ****e)

finally, we appear to be RPod twins! We have a 176, it tows like a pig!

Wife's...can't live with them and can't live with them. Well, something like that...lol.

Nice looking Dl. Owning an old series 1 and a Dl are always on my "must be out of my mind" list.

l've towed the RPod with the 03, did well actually.

Didn't get to use it for any camping trips this past summer, aging parnets and the issues that come along with that kept us close to home. Once l get the engine broke in and build some sort of comfort level with it...it will most likely become the tow vehicle.

Brian.
