Don't know how to get pictures off my state of the art old flip phone. Actually, just upgraded today to a smart phone, it is mind boggling...but it takes a nice picture. My old phone would not have service through Canada.
Worked on door locks today. For some reason, they were a basta*d to get unlocked. Had to remove door panels and adjust and lube. One left for tomorrow. Glad l checked this out, been years since l've locked a door on this thing.
Had a bit of time to spend on Victoria, after waiting half the day for my 9:45 final confirmation phone call from social security on amount and such. After...finally getting fed up and calling them myself, and being on hold for well over an hour, then...they told me they had no record of my application. Then told me the first available appointment was in sept...l'm like...l'm done working in a few days. A second lady got things straighten out, at our local office, and said don't worry...it is all taken care of.
Built this barrier to better utilize area. Smaller water container.
Some privacy curtains and cooler mounted.
Added a flip up panel over container and added a barrier wall to bungee the rolled up sleeping mats against it. Cooler strapped down.
Control central, phone mount, electrical distribution system, economy a/c, and usb ports.
Nope, not a Toyota oil pan...
Just tighten a hose clamp on oil return hose from breather...seems to have taken care of last leak.
Enough for tonight.

Yeah, the first pictures taken were on highest resolution...but they wouldn't load on post. So, adjusted resolution and retook them. Plus, l'd lost some of the natural light by the time the second photo shoot started. Oh, well...today agenda...after a quick spin on the bike...quick trip to hardware store for a couple bits...it's...loading up and doing a short, 700 mile round trip, shakedown run. Want to get her loaded for bear and hit some hills up north.
Victoria never missed a beat, 300 miles of unadulterated joy. Beer to chilled to perfection, thank you new cooler!
Everything rode great inside, nothing rattling around or weird noises. She ran warmer than l would have liked a few times, but never out of an acceptable range. Hey what woman doesn't run a little warm and cold at times?
1) Need a small duffled bag for commonly used tools. Loaded up the kitchen sink worth of tools and slid duffle bag into rear footwell area, beneath sleeping platform...wedge in there with several other things. Stop at gas station this morning and a tail light was out, thought...darn...it will be ten minutes just digging out the tools. Luckily, the young lady at the gas station loaned me a screwdriver and bulb had just popped out of socket. But, an easy too get to bag with a few minor/commoningly used tools is on the agenda for today.
2) Another small bag for tooth brush and other anti-stink rubbish.
3) I NEEDED THIS BAD! Truth be told, l'd lost whatever confidence and comfort level gained with old Victoria, previously. I'd put nearly 20K on her, before the engine trans plant, then engine rebuild debacle, and then the entirely different engine trans plant. Yes, the last few years have been very difficult with her and windshield time was minimal. All the way north yesterday my anxiety level was on "high". But, today she began to feel like second nature again (driving).
4) Life is short...as in...get out there..."One Life, Live It".
