Installed drag link and track bar, from Rovers North. Seems much heavier duty than original stuff. Need to get after rust, all of these new parts look out of place. Brian.

Hung some chairs, used an old serpentine belt, perfect.

Thank you, Charlie. It's been fun, building the rover. Been doing it on a poorman's pockets, using and building from whatever...or buying used stuff. Lift kit and winch are about the only purchases of any substance.

Nothing much happening with the 01. However, l was looking at the odometer today and realized l'd put 23K on it over the last two years...then my brain started to work...and l thought...hell, l forgot about the odometer being off on account of tire size change.

So...

Usually, for ever 100 miles driven, odometer-wise, l've actually gone 111...so this translates into a extra 111 miles for every 1000...and that means...instead of 23K...l've actually driven about 25.5K

So, not bad for a $500.00 purchase...and about another $700.00 for trans, drive shaft and y-pipe. Yeah, l've put more money into her...but that was all build stuff.

Brian.

The old girl is slowly being disassembled. Our two year relationship is coming to an end. So, we can stick a fork in this topic and call it over and done. Not going to lie, l've enjoyed messing with this rover during that time.
