Dang it I did!!!! Grrrr and I was there with only 1 12K left. Knowing my luck she'll be long gone by the time I get back.

Do you guys think that will fit into the D1 ARB bumper it list XD9000 & M8000 as compatible. I know I have to drill the roller fairlead which is common, but that 12K looked pretty big vs the 9K.

Hop back in the rover, you got it!

I can't offer an opinion as to whether or not it will bolt up, take a tape measure!

I can tell you that the PO of my truck had a 10,000 ENGO winch installed before me, and the HF 12,000 bolted right up to the same bolt pattern

Cool deal jumping back into it! I leveled the bumper (didn't have time when I was up in Austin), and slapped on my Hi-Lift Jack.

I walked out right at 300.00 after tax for the 12k winch. I had to use some 1/2 inch thick collar spacers to position the larger body of the winch from the bumper. I also replaced the ching chong looking bolts with some good quality ones as I had to get longer ones due to the collar spacers anyways. It is mounted and I now have zero clearance issues. I’ll finish up mounting the solenoid box, and connections tomorrow.

Some LED's I found inside a wrecked Honda at a junk yard lol. They're awesome at night. I did a 500 mile round trip to grab the ARB Bumper and I only had 2 people flash at me & I honestly think it was the 85watt PIAA's they flashed me for. I changed their bulbs out to 55watt bulbs today. Also it's not uncommon to get flashed even when I was running the PIAA H4/9003's people would flash me. So we'll see, but man for traveling at night I could see all the reflectors clear as a bell, road signs, and the road no problem. When I grabbed em from the junk yard I did re-aim my headlights (needed to after the 3inch lift anyways just never got around to it). They have a darn clear cut off, and almost as good as my LR3 on the glare factor.

I couldn't find a brand name, but they look high quality.

Is that snow on the roof of the house?

Did you have to cut the grill to install winch?

Brian.

Yep we woke up in SETX yesterday morning to 3-6inches of snow!! It was SO beautiful!

I didn't have to cut anything to mount the 12K winch into the D1 ARB Bumper. I just spaced it away from the bumper 1/2 an inch with fender washers/collar spacers (I ran out of fender washers, so the collar spacers are temporary & I will get more when I go to town just wanted it mounted up in the meantime). I had to space it off the bumper because the main ground was hitting the bumper & the gearbox was also touching on the other side. After Spacing it 1/2 back it sits perfectly.
